Lessons From the Field – Map of Interviews Conducted

Project “Lessons from the field:  building from field experience to improve support for beekeeping in Kenya and Uganda”

The map below shows the approximate locations of the expert beekeepers interviewed and projects examined as part of the Lessons from the Field project.  A total of 26 of the best Kenya beekeepers and 27 of the best Ugandan beekeepers were sampled and interviewed in-depth on their farms amongst their beehives.  Ten beekeeping projects in Kenya and five beekeeping projects in Uganda were sampled for further analysis and to learn lessons on how best to support beekeepers.

Please click on the map icons below to see photographs, location and date of the interview conducted.  Click on the link provided in ‘Link to Case Study’ where available to see further information about the individual beekeeper.  Cases will be added over the coming weeks so please check back regularly to find links to new cases.
