  1. I am pleased to have found your website and read of your projects. As an anthropologist I have done field work with the Okiek/ Dorobo specialist hunter-gatherer honey collectors. My experience was in the Mau Forest. I am just finishing a book on the importance of honey to Okiek culture which I would like to share with you. Do respond by email so I can attach the pdf in reply. 2. This is an amazing site! I was in Africa in May and was able to work African bees in Uganda and Zimbabwe, very different and so similar. I am working on a presentation for my local Beekeeping group, I am a hobby beekeeper, and was hoping to get any information you may have on beekeeping in Africa ( I was able to find a book on Amazon, Killer Bees by Mark Winston 1992 and Tales of an African Beekeepe by peter Clark, but was hoping to find more information in the rural areas as I can find quite a bit on South Africa and Kenya. Thanks for any thing you can send or point me to and images to add to mine are also welcome.

  3. I have enjoyed reading through your articles. They contain useful information for those intending to start beekeeping. If you have more materials such as a training handbook, please share with me.
